Custard Pie

Happy Friday! We've reached high 80s temperatures in Massachusetts today -- probably not the best day for baking. If, however, you happened to have one of these pies already made, it might be a nice cool dessert option.

Custard Pie

5 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

-Mix ingredients and pour into unbaked pie shell.
-Bake at 375 for 1 hour.
-Cool, sprinkle with nutmeg, and serve.
