
-Saute:
1/4 cup chopped onions, and
1 lb ground beef in
3 TB butter until brown.
-Add:
3 cups tomato juice
1 1/2 cup water
2 cans cream of celery soup

1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/8 tsp marjoram (the herb)
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 bay leaf
2 cups of finely shredded carrots.
-Simmer for 30 minutes on stove top.
-Remove bay leaf before serving.
