Mushroom Roll-Ups


An appetizer that you can make ahead of time, and keep in your freezer until the day of the party.







2lb loaf sandwich bread
1 lg onion, minced
1 TB butter
1/4 tsp salt
dash of pepper
3/4 lb mushrooms, diced
11 oz cream cheese
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 stick butter, melted

-Saute mushrooms and onions in 1 TB butter.
-Add salt, pepper and cream cheese. Stir until smooth.
-Add remaining ingredients except bread and butter.
-Cut crusts off bread, and roll slices thin.
-Spread mixture over bread, and roll like a jelly roll.
-Cut rolls into quarters. Brush with melted butter.
-Bake a 450 degrees for 5-10 minutes, until lightly browned.
