Butterscotch Candy

Is there anything more nostalgic than homemade candy? You might even need a candy thermometer for this one.

Butterscotch Candy

4 cups sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup water
1/4 # butter (I think she meant 1/4 cup)

-cover pan. Cook sugar, syrup & water at medium heat (280)
-remove from heat and add butter
-cook at 310
-pour into buttered cookie sheet and let cool until set.
-cut into cubes with buttered knife
